ALBANY, N.Y. — Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be at the Schoharie Flood Benefit this Saturday to offer information on preparing for future disasters, flood insurance and rebuilding safer and stronger.
FEMA staff will have a display booth at the Schoharie Flood Benefit on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 290 Main Street, Schoharie, NY 12157.
Information on how to repair and clean flooded homes will be available. Among the publications available will be: Protecting Your Home and Property from Flood Damage, The Benefits of Flood Insurance versus Disaster Assistance, Answers to Questions About the National Flood Insurance Program.
