Charlotte shows off her slim figure
“It is risky losing so much weight too quickly as their bodies are likely to recalibrate their metabolism to compensate for the lack of calories,” she told Mirror Celeb.”It’s vitally important on these ridiculously low calorie celebrity diets that one makes every calorie count towards the body’s nutritional needs. “There should be no room made in these diets for foods with added processed sugar or fatty foods like burgers and cheese or sweets or else the body will soon become too low in essential fats, iron, B vitamins, zinc, magnesium, anti oxidants and sources of fibre.”If they lose any more weight, unless they are very careful and seek the advice of an experienced registered nutritionist, they will be in danger of risking problems with fertility, cognitive function, digestion and the quality of their skin.”Nutrition expert Spencer Austin added: “It’s perfectly safe to loose 3-5 lbs per week with correct nutrition and some good training.

Vikki Pattison has slimmed down
“The trouble comes from maintaining this intensity, 1-3 months then most people break! As a lot of people head down the reduced calorie, exercise like crazy route. This will give you some quick results but is not sustainable.”Over time your metabolism will slow down putting your body into starvation mode. Your body doesn’t realise that you might have a kitchen full of food or that you might want to fit into that LBD in time for your friends 21st birthday party.”All it knows is that food is scarce and it should start storing what comes in as fat! This can also lead to other problems with Thyroid, cortisol etc.”The other trouble with the cutting calories exercising too much is that there are more chances of finding yourself hungry at the wrong moments like when you’re walking past the cheese cake factory.”This can lead to binge eating. Like the tortoise and hare, slow and steady can win the race.”
