One of Brian’s Favorite Quotes
War… is not the most favorable moment for divesting the monarchy of power. On the contrary, it is the moment when the energy of a single hand shows itself in the most seducing form.”

Home Alone reunion: Catherine O’Hara recalls Macaulay Culkin run-in
It’s been Kevin McCallister’s longest adventure yet, but he was reunited with his Home Alone mum 25 years after the movie first hit the big screen.
Actress Catherine O’Hara played Macaulay Culkin‘s mum in both the original film and its 1992 sequel Lost in New York, and she has revealed that the pair bumped into each other for the first time in years.
The reunion was more adorable than we could ever have imaged – it could’ve come straight from
How we’d like to imagine it went down
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live, she said: “I haven’t seen him for years and years, but I saw him two years ago — a year-and-a-half-ago? — at a Martin Mull art opening, and he was coming out, and he went, ‘Mommy!'” And I said, ‘Baby!’ ”
The heartfelt meet-up was so sweet that even Catherine’s husband Bo Welch made sure to get a photo on his phone.
She added: “My husband, who’s usually cool about these things, was like, ‘Okay, both of you get together, I’m getting a picture!’
What would it take for a full reunion?
“And he got beautiful pictures on his phone, which I wish I had to show.”
She was pleased to see Pizza Underground star Culkin, who was “living in Paris at the time” and “doing really well”.
Catherine said: “He was living in Paris at the time, and he looked lovely, and he was doing really well, and I was happy to see him.”
