Brown cancelled the gigs that were originally scheduled for March to support his daughter Bobbi Kristina, who has been in a coma since she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on January 31. Reports suggest that the 46-year-old doesn’t want to leave his daughter’s bedside as she remains under medical care, and was reported to be distraught at having to go on the road while she fights for her life. However, a rep for Brown has told Billboard: “Bobby is looking forward to performing in Australia.”

Bobbi Kristina, the only child of the late Whitney Houston, was treated at the Emory University Hospital before being moved to a long-term care centre in Atlanta, where she is regularly visited by her father Bobby and her grandmother Cissy Houston. A family source has told People that Bobbi Kristina is being looked after in a “quiet and peaceful” private room in the centre, where the family have brought along several items from home.

“The family has brought some things from home for her. Not much – just a few things, like a blanket and some pictures,” they told the magazine. They also added: “Everyone’s all cried out by now. We love her and want her to recover.”
