One of Brian’s Favorite Quotes
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”
Is David Beckham the hottest punt chauffeur ever? Star tries his hand on River Cam during family trip
David Beckham and his family are used to travelling in style, but rather than flying around the world, they made the most of the UK this bank holiday by heading to Cambridge. The former footballer shared a photo from the family’s day trip on the River Cam as the group, which included son Brooklyn and wife Victoria Beckham and her parents, of himself actually giving it a go himself. Is there anything that he’s not good at? If Becks ever finds himself short of work, we reckon he’d be pretty popular on the river.# “A day on the punting pole,” he captioned the photo, which showed a flat-capped David trying his hand at being a punt chauffeur. Doesn’t he look pleased with himself?

The famous couple, their children, Victoria’s sister, and her parents all gathered for the popular tourist attraction. Great day for a spot of punting for people in the Cambridge area. Excited fans took the chance to take a stream of snaps of the family on board, and they’ve spread like wildfire on Twitter.
In one, David is pictured sat next to his eldest son Brooklyn, with his youngest sons Romeo and Cruz opposite together and their grandparents behind. They were spotted lying back relaxed and happy, as they peeked over to their neighbouring punt, which carried Victoria, daughter Harper and her sister Louise Adams. The whole family was joined by Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright on the Cam.
Connor Smith, 19, a student from Bedfordshire, told the Cambridge News: “When the punt operators were coming up to people, they were telling everyone that Beckham’s there. “It was weird seeing him there with his family. Victoria was on another boat next to him. He was in a punt with his boys.”
Fans quickly filled social media with the snaps, as one wrote: “David Beckham punting on the Cam today and I’m stuck in the library, so close yet so far, star crossed lovers xx.” Another added: “What is David Beckham doing in Cambridge punting?! Haha #LookOutForLoversLane.” And one wrote: “David Beckham punting in Cambridge what what what.”
